Jeep Cherokee Latitude, Freedom, Latitude Plus, Altitude Trims

There are numerous trim levels available on the Jeep Cherokee. Many of them provide similar features, including the first four trim levels: the Cherokee Latitude, Freedom, Latitude Plus, and Altitude trims.

These trim levels are designed to consider the safety features you need and the performance the road can require as you embark on your adventures. For example, each of these trims comes with a 15.8-gallon fuel tank, 60/40 folding rear seats, a ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera, and LaneSense® Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist.

The Jeep Cherokee is equipped with up to 54.7 cubic feet of cargo space, allowing you to fit all the items you need for any road trip or adventure.

The engine in these trim levels is a 2.4L I-4 Tigershark® MultiAir® 2 engine that gets 180 horsepower and 171 lb-ft of torque. This engine also gets an EPA-estimated 22 city/31 highway MPG.

Jeep Cherokee Latitude Lux

Next on the list is the Jeep Cherokee Latitude Lux trim. This trim upgrades to a 3.2L Pentastar® V6 engine with Engine Stop/Start (ESS) and gets 271 horsepower and 239 lb-ft of torque. You also have the capability to tow up to 4,500 pounds when properly equipped. This is an upgrade from the previous trim levels, which provided a maximum of 2,000 pounds of towing capacity when properly equipped.

The same 3.2L Pentastar® V6 engine is also available on the 80^th Anniversary, Limited, and Trailhawk trim levels.

Additionally, there is also an available 2.0L I-4 Turbo engine with ESS that is available for multiple trim levels, including the Latitude Lux and Limited trims. This engine provides you with up to 4,000 pounds of towing capacity when properly equipped.

The Latitude Lux trim level and all higher trims also come standard with heated front seats.

Jeep Cherokee 80^th Anniversary

The Jeep Cherokee 80^th Anniversary trim level offers several of the same features as the previous trims, but also gives the vehicle a unique look.

This trim includes Granite Crystal Grille Surrounds, Granite Crystal Exterior Badging, and Granite Crystal Rear Fascia Appliqué.

Jeep Cherokee Limited

Next up is the Jeep Cherokee Limited trim. This takes luxury to a new level.

The first upgrade you get with this trim is the standard 8.4-inch infotainment screen, allowing you a larger screen to access your favorite entertainment and information features.

This trim also comes with the Remote Start System, which can allow you to get your vehicle running and heat it up or cool it down, all before you ever step outside to begin your travels.

Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk

If off-roading is what you love, the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk trim can be the right choice. This trim level gives you tools to handle any terrain you face.

This trim includes skid plates, an off-road suspension, and a Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System. This allows you to navigate through muddy roads, gravel terrain, and uneven surfaces.

The Jeep Active Drive Lock System is also included in this trim—the only Jeep Cherokee trim level to include this feature.

Jeep Cherokee High Altitude

Finally, there is the Jeep Cherokee High Altitude trim. This trim includes the previously mentioned Turbo engine. You also get more technology and performance than ever.

The Jeep Cherokee High Altitude trim comes with an 8.4-inch touchscreen display as a standard feature. It is also the only Jeep Cherokee trim level to offer standard GPS Navigation.

Another standard feature on both the High Altitude and Limited trims is the Alpine® Premium Audio System, taking your listening experience to a new level.
